Refugio Altis

The construction of this refuge is realized on the part of the Valencian Autonomous government by the aim of "favors with the necessary cautions, the tripper use, recreative and pedagogically of these areas and the social concienciación promotes on the cultural, ecological, environmental and economic values, which endure the forest Valencian patrimony ", according to the law 3/1993 Forest of the Valencian Community.

the building is on the ruins of a former farmhouse in the recreative area of the Altis in Villahermosa's municipal area of the Rio, in Castellón's province. His implantation answers initially of the harmonization with the conservation and protection of the natural way.

The program of needs has developed practically quite in a floor, so that the building brings together a few ideal conditions of accessibility, locating the secondary uses in different levels. The building consists of:

- Semibasement floor plan with room of facilities and cistern.
- Ground floor with two bedrooms for 16 persons each one, masculine and feminine bathrooms, cooks with pantry, dining room - zone of being and terrace.
- Plants hillock with bedroom for monitors.
