Extremely difficult project when treats himself about the intervention in a former cinema of the downtown for his restructuring to office block for the notaries' A,F & S, F of Castellón.

The existing, inserted building in the plot of the historical nucleus of the city was presenting dividing shared with existing housings in three of his sides, being the fourth side front to a narrow pedestrian street.

The project considered as process in the one that controls the program, the local conditions and aesthetic aspirations of representation, is formalized in the execution of a building of five plans of height inscribed in the surrounding preexisting one. With an organizational clear ready scheme I half-close to a great interior court that relates the different levels between if and it allows the captation of light " impluvium of light " native, like lantern, so that it comes to all the stays. This court allows to solve the problem of the scanty perimeter in direct contact with the exterior, organizes around it all the offices and the traffics in every plan, as well as the vertical connection of the whole building on having placed two panoramic elevators in his interior.

Every plan solves with great clarity the program of uses of every notary, officials' offices, rooms of signatures, etc., as well as traffics and zones of wait.

In ground floor there are located in addition the common areas of access - receipt and room of conferences. In basement floor plan locates important zone of file - library opened the citizens, the cafeteria and in the wide space corresponding to the central court a wide zone for exhibitions.

The visual connection that takes place from any point of the building, so much in plants like in section promotes the fluency and clarity of the space being articulated from the public thing to the private thing.

The interiorismo incorporates furniture and contemporary lighting and of author, as well as an interesting collection of ancient typewriters, as well as part of the important funds of graphical work of the notary D. Joaquín Serrano Yuste.
