The project of office extension and laboratories for the company Esmalglass, appears us as a challenge of great difficulty in the one that was necessary to solve the extension of a preexisting building and the obtaining of a round and representative image for the company.
From the first ideas, the presence of the building is born in mind in his environment and his perception from the road to which it arranges in parallel. This way, we raise the building thinking it as a series of structural planes covered by the surrounding one of glass that allows to see to his slant the activity that develops in the interior.The glass volume is deformed in his end by means of planes inclined like "keel of ship ", being this point in which the building has the maximum height where the name of the company places by means of corporeal letters in aluminium white lacquer.
The program is organized by floors like that; in floor basement locates the file and store, in ground floor they arrange laboratories as in the first floor. Being the total surface of extension and remodeling of the existing building of almost 12.000 m2.

The longitudinal configuration of the building allows a linear organization of the different activities, constructed from a backbone of traffic from the one that one accedes to the different vertical illuminated nucleuses of communication cenitalmente that, endowed with elevator and stairs, are opened for the later ship by means of big glazed surfaces and use as reference and guide marking the points of revenue to the building.
